A managed display can be refreshed over time through planned care and agreed changes in flower colour, helping the frontage remain inviting without discarding the whole scheme.
Refresh rather than replace automatically
The aim is not change for its own sake. Existing baskets and structures should be reviewed first, with attention focused where it will improve presentation.
Where suitable and agreed, flower colours can be adjusted to give the venue a renewed look while retaining the established display format.
What may be considered
- The condition and shape of the existing display
- Colour balance across the whole frontage
- How the planting works with signage and painted joinery
- Replacement of tired or unsuitable elements where agreed
- Access and timing for the venue
